We could get in the car and go to the store And easily find what we're looking for Applesauce: aisle 4. No mess, no skin, no apple cores. Or we could take our time, go slow Pick the apples where they grow Learn to make it all myself My very own applesauce on my shelf! We could get in the car and go to the store And easily find what we're looking for Blankets: aisle 4. Comforters, quilts, and everything warm. Or we could take our time, go slow Learn to knit and learn to sew Learn to make it all myself My very own blanket on my shelf. Come and learn to make something with me What should we make? What do we need? What do we want to have on our shelves? Together we'll make something from nothing And when we’re done we’ll say we made it ourselves. We could get in the car and go to the store And easily find what we're looking for Playdough: aisle 4 Gak and ooze and slime galore! Or we could take our time, go slow Find some glue and baking soda Learn to make it all myself My very own playdough on my shelf. All the TV ads want to sell me Things they say they already made, they already made to put on my shelf But they could never sell me the feeling That I get inside after I make it myself. No they could never sell me the feeling… (What should we make? What do we need? What do we want to have on our shelves?) No they could never sell me the feeling… (The apples I picked, the blankets I knit, I found the glue and made it myself!) That I get inside after I make it myself.

We will get there when we get there We went for a drive on the weekend To see what the beach had in store But we just kept driving and we drove forever Gosh will we ever reach the shore?! Are we there yet, are we there? We’ll get there when we get there It won’t be any sooner We’ll get there when we get there It won’t be any later Cuz when we’re here, we’re here And when we’re there, we’re there And somewhere in the future space and time The two will share We went for a hike on a mountain To see if the top we could seek But we just kept hiking and we hiked forever Gosh will we ever reach the peak? We are here, yes, here we are The place we are is Not yet there

Biggest Bite 01:15
I can eat the biggest bite of food This is the biggest bite of food that I can eat I can eat the biggest bite of food Now watch as I complete this awesome feat! I can chew the biggest bite of food This is the biggest bite of food that I can chew I can chew the biggest bite of food I can chew more food than you or you or you And when I’m through there’ll be nothing on my plate And I’ll get to say something like “Boy that meal was great!” That’s what I ate, that’s what I ate, and boy that meal was great. I can sip the biggest sip of milk This is the biggest sip of milk that I can sip. I can sip the biggest sip of milk And then I’ll have a mustache on my lip And when I’m through, there’ll be nothing in my cup And I’ll get to say something like, “Milk, that’s what’s up!” That’s what’s up, that’s what’s up, I can see the bottom of my cup. Glug!

The EPA Song 02:02
When your car is sick and you’re not sure that it will make it through the day a little smog's not great but if it’s quite a lot then we're in trouble and that’s why we need the EPA. Lots of factories are built right next to rivers and to streams and all the waste that they create can't just be thrown into the water the EPA makes sure they keep it clean. Chorus EPA: The referee in the game of life Fighting for the Earth EPA: The lawyer whose client is the public and the people To remind us what our health is worth. “Well I own a factory.” “You do?!” “Yes, and I only dump 10 cloggety-clog-fulls of muckety-muck in the river every day.” “Muckety-muck? Every day?! That's a lot.” “No it's not.” “That's a lot.” “No it's not.” “That's a lot.” “No it's not.” “That's terrible! Well, I wish there were some impartial researched based organization, maybe government run, that could just tell us what's a lot and what's not a lot.” “Yeah, I wish that too!” Chorus

Cuddle 03:32
Anya: Hey, you wanna see my hamster? Oscar: Aw, it’s really cute! I had a hamster named fluffy the Muff But Fluffy the Muff was too small to do stuff I wanted to give her the biggest tiny kiss but Fluffy the Muff was too small for even this. Chorus: Cuddle wont you cuddle wont you cuddle, wont you snuggle, won’t you cuddle me. Snuggle, wont you snuggle Wont you cuddle, won’t you nuzzle, won’t you cuddle me. I had a parakeet and I named him Tiny Tim Held out my hand so that I could feed him. Tiny Tim he was so cute I can’t even take him Wanna ruffle up his feathers but I don’t want to break him. (chorus) Anya: Let’s go cuddle that adorable caterpillar Oscar: I think if I cuddled a caterpillar, I’d have caterpillar guts all over me. I met a caterpillar and her name was Amanda She looked just like a mini giant panda Amanda had the cutest little style of walking shhhh, let’s watch her, no talking! (chorus) Anya: I really want snuggle something big, white and fluffy. Can you guess? Julie: Um, a giraffe? Anya: close I met a polar bear and her name was Francis I wanna pet her, should I take my chances? Francis had the softest fur in all of the land I really wanna pet her, but I also like my hand. (chorus) Julie: I have a question. What if you don’t feel like cuddling? Anya: Oh yes, we have a verse for that. I had a little louse and his name was Fred He liked to live on top of my head. And every time he’d cuddle me, this I would say: “No thank you, Fred. I do not want to cuddle.” (chorus)

Chorus: Go to sleep mosquito, it’s time to go to bed Take your final sip Of blood and rest your skeeter head. Every little skeeter Needs to go skeeter bed Needs to brush their skeeter sucker At the end of their skeeter head. Try to whisper all your secrets All mosquitoes know as close to human ears as your skeeter wings will let you go. Chorus Please do not invite your friends, I am not amused Hey there little skeeters, Your buzzing is not excused You hummed, you buzzed, you sang, you sucked You gave us all some bites They itch so bad, you’ve done your job Now go to bed and say goodnight. Chorus

King Midas 03:46
Chorus: King Midas, he's so famous for his unique talent of turning things to gold But really, really, actually, oh really Really, really, actually, oh really His favorite thing to do was to turn things into cheese You may have heard of the time when his friend, another king… Yes everyone knows that kings only hang out with other kings! Anyway, his friend said, “I brought you some silver, can you make it better?” Midas he blinked and he turned it into cheddar Chorus You may have heard of the town, the next town, another town… Yes, everyone knows that this town was known for its pretty sounds! Every violinist said, “turn to gold my fiddle, for the town sonata” Midas he blinked and he turned it into ricotta Chorus Why, why, why…why cheese?! Well, have you ever, have you ever, have you ever tasted gold?! You may have heard of the house on the hill that’s very old… Yes everyone knows the entire house is made of gold! Anyway the sun shone, it glistened everywhere, the windows, floors, and stairs, Midas he blinked and he turned it into camembert Chorus

What Book? 03:31
Ask me what book am I reading Look at me like I know things Ask me what book am I reading Look at me like I know things Ask me which historical figure Might I invite to dinner I've got smart things to say But you might hear much less if you Start all your conversations “My what a pretty dress” Ask me what book am I reading And maybe if you're lucky i'll ask you what book you're reading too It's my favorite holiday, our family New Years Eve We'll stay up til midnight, it'll be next year when you all leave We’ll make homemade pizza for our winter celebration But some of you adults need some help with conversation Ask me what book am I reading Look at me like I know things Ask me which new invention Should go in your collection I've got smart things to say But you might hear much less if you Start all your conversations, “Oooh I love your dress!” Ask me what book am I reading And maybe if you're lucky i'll ask you what book you're reading too We've got cake and ice cream, happy birthday to me We'll stay up til midnight, telling jokes and watching bad TV Now I'm one year older and you're wondering what to get me For my birthday, just tell me more than, “you are so pretty” Ask me what book am i reading, what book am i reading, what book am i reading and maybe if you're lucky, I’ll ask you…

I met the dog of my dreams today We met on the beach and we had a play He let me drag him into the sea We fetched for hours just him and me I met the dog of my dreams today I rode the bike of my dreams today The handlebars are red and the frame is gray I'm faster than wind on a windy day faster than the speed of light some may say I rode the bike of my dreams today Chorus: That’s love, that’s true love I brined the pickle of my dreams today It was seasoned with dill, salt and caraway I took one little bite of it and my mouth exploded at the taste of it I brined the pickle of my dreams today Chorus

Their favorite game is monopoly Unless it takes 17 hours Then they prefer fingerpaint twister As long as there's time before bed for a shower Their name is Alex like Alexander or Alexandra Except without the ander or andra at the end Yea there's no ander or andra at the end They're just Alex, and they're my best friend Their favorite dessert is banana bread With whipped cream and cherries on top They're too young to drink cappuccinos I think, But when they grow up, they wanna own their own coffee shop Their name is Sam, like Samantha or Samuel Except without the antha or muel at the end Yea there's no antha or muel at the end They're just Sam, and they're my best friend Alex, they're my best friend, I can't wait til you meet them Sam, they're my best friend, I can't wait til you meet them Meet them, meet them, meet them, meet them...

I love taking my shoes off in the sandbox, The sand feels cool to the touch I'm building my own sand castle kingdom, I wish I could live there so much Cuz yesterday I saw a kid who looked like me Playing right here under my favorite tree But he was being mean to to somebody on our playground Calling him names because his skin was brown My stomach turned, time seemed to slow down Should I stay where I am or get up off the ground Cuz I wanted to walk up to the mean kid And make him say sorry for the mean things he said Should I just stay quiet, don't cause a big scene Will I get in trouble, will that kid be mean to me Butterflies flew all around in my belly, My legs were shaking, they felt just like jelly I didn't know what I should say, First I just asked, “hey are you ok?” We both turned to the mean one, my chest felt so tight It was hard to get the words to sound right He said that's not fair, and I said yea thats not right We said, do you know what it means to have skin dark or light? And I looked at my own skin and saw it was light too And I hoped I'd never done what I saw that kid do My stomach turned, time seemed to slowed down, My hands shook, butterflies flew all around, My chest felt tight, I had heard enough But that's how I knew I had to stand up Yea that's how I knew I had to stand up I couldn't sit there anymore, I could feel it deep within Thats how I knew I had to stand with him I turned to my new friend, we learned each other's names He asked if I wanted to go play a game And now we love taking our shoes off in the sandbox, The sand feels cool to the touch We're building our own sand castle kingdom, We wish we could live there so much

I'm not a Christmas celebrator Don’t get me wrong, I'm no hater I just grew up in another way Celebrating other holidays You might think ice cream is just for dessert and usually that's ok Unless it's the first Saturday in February That's Ice Cream for Breakfast Day I never ever want to take a bath My rubber ducky won’t play Until it’s bathtime on Jan 8th National Bubble Bath Day I can’t wait for the second day in March A fine sublime rhyming time Every fox in a box has a box full of clocks that go tick tock I say it’s Dr. Seuss Day (Green eggs and ham for breakfast!)
